Terrigal Shore Dives
Shore diving around Terrigal is fantastic, albeit somewhat dependent on the prevailing sea conditions. When the sea is calm, the diving off the rock platform rivals the local shallow reef diving accessible only from a boat. It is the only spot I am aware of on the Central Coast that you can jump off the rocks and find yourself in 20m of water quickly. For those divers up for the rock hop and in the right conditions, your efforts will be rewarded with some fantastic diving.
When the weather is not kind enough for diving out the font off the rock platform, there is Terrigal Haven (The Haven) which I have come to appreciate as an absolute macro diving heaven. It took me a while to work out the full charm of the site but now I am simply not surprised by what I encounter. It is a popular shore dive locally but I am convinced most people dive straight over the critters of interest to people like myself.
